I still get butterflies into my stomach when I think about Esther and Andrew’s elopement in Iceland. They started planning their elopement just 3 months before and handle it perfectly. They always knew they would not have a tradition wedding and Esther had never dreamed of a big wedding.  Like many of the couples they wanted to elope in outstanding and in a  meaningful place to them. They also knew they wanted something intimate. Esther and Andrew even had their dog being part of their day! How cool is that?!

We started on driving from Reykjavik to Snaefellsjökull area. The mountains. No one around us. Wedding dress in the wind. The couple saying ”I do.” It was a beautiful and intimate moment to get married. And that is something I really love about. Standing next to the person you deeply love, you’re there with the person who you truly belong with.

And the funniest thing happened when we stopped to do photos near the mountains. There was a small hostel and the owners had the same dog as Esther and Andrew had. Even from the same dog breeder! It made their day since we got photos also with the other dog!
